Meltech offers standard and bespoke furnace designs for applications requiring heat treatment up to 1,500°C.  Our equipment is able to meet demanding calibration parameters for customers in the wire, cable, aerospace and metal processing industries, who wish to process a wide range of mainstream and more complex metals including stainless steel, titanium and complex alloys.

Our furnaces are characterised by the use of environmentally friendly advanced ceramic and insulation materials to give 90% thermal efficiency, leading to more consistent and manageable heating across the length of the furnace and reduce furnace running costs.

Our electrically heated furnaces use advanced control techniques to achieve accurate temperature zoning for metal conditioning and heat treatment compliance to NADCAP standards.  Many of our customers are now reaping the rewards of switching to Meltech electric furnaces.  We are happy to discuss the various improvements that usually arise on a switch from gas to electrically heated furnaces, including: improved energy costs, potential for accurate data logging and improvements in quality and consistency.

Furnace Refurbishment
Meltech understands that customers need to keep their equipment performing to its optimum level at all times; so we offer a refurbishment service for both electric and gas fired furnaces. This on-site service includes renewing insulation and heating systems as well as updating the furnace controls, and also allows companies to review the selection of their energy source and modify the heating and control systems accordingly. Meltech specialises in building electrically-powered furnaces: for companies who still rely on gas-powered furnaces, we are happy to assess their needs and calculate the cost savings that could be achieved by investing in an electrically-powered solution – please contact us for more information.
